Well here we-got 3-jl audio w6's wired 4 ohms and two amps running them because Iv'e heard the Power Acoustic amps are over rated. I got the Power Acoustic 1600 watt amp wired mono and a Kicker 400.1 wired to the subs. Icheck theohm reading my mulitmeter and it was reading like 6.7-7.8 ohms WTF! Now the power acoustic amp Is on protect and I have no Idea what to do...any help please.

I also took the subs out to see if they were wired correctly, but that turn out good. I also check to see if on of the speaker wired were not connecting cuasing the ohm load to change and mess up the whole series but that didn't turn up ass well. Now the two outside speakers are making small popping noises and the middle one is not doing anything.

check the ohm load of each sub, if it is more then half an ohm off the sub is blown. Could be caused by the two mixed amps on the same subs wired together. Get the subs fixed and just run one amp. I would definetly get rid of the power acoustic, a lot of dirty power. JL 1000/1 would be perfect

yeah most likely the two different amps set up is the cause the subs are confused due to two different signals going to them
