"custom comes one blade at a time"

but you cant figure out what shock or where it goes??

i would just use the kit that cando makes to put them on the back of the control arms... go to gabriel's website, download their catalog, and starting on pg 300 or so is a table that shows all their collapsed/extended lengths and types of mounting ends, it'll take some time after you figure out where your mounting them to figure out a measurement range you need, but that will get you there...

NOW, how are the spindles? did you have to notch for the tie rods still with them?? can you put up pics of everything you did up front? what all did you move to get the clearance for the 22's?

well i've seen people put the shock on the front and the rear of the control arms and didn't know if it made any differance.

Yes I had to notch for the tie rods moved the battery, the cumputer on the passenger side and the fuse box and the 3 plugs on the driver side. didn't even come close to the brake booster. I will get some updated pics soon and post them.

Well I was in the middle of mounting mine, but I had to move the truck out of the garage for a while, so I dont have any pics and I didn't finish my mounts 100%.

I tried mounting them to the rear of the control arms, but with the spindle flip, I just lost too much turning radius.

I found if I mounted them to the front of the control arm, I could position them pretty straight, and didn't have to cut into the frame, and the wheel turns lock to lock without hitting ant any height

I will post pics on my profile when I finish them, but It looks like I won't be able to work on it for a few weeks!

Good luck and post pics when you have them mounted!

Anyone think about a shock hoop or bridge? It'll eliminate the limited turning radius problem plus I've been wanting to talk to someone who has one.

This is just an example from a 88-98 chevy:

And I think this guy is running a similar set up:
