hey, i pulled the leaves off my truck today, cuz ive got my notch and after i notch it im gonna get my 4link so i went ahead and pulled my leaves off since i had my truck up on stands. well my problem is what do i do with my ebrake cable? it was mounted to the sides of my leaf srings, so should i try to re mount it or get rid of it? i really dont want to but if worst comes to worst i will. so if anyone knows what to do lemme kno. my truck is a 88 dodge d50.

Once the truck lays on the ground, it would be an effective ebrake. A lot of people just get rid of it. it was more trouble to leave mine in, so I removed it.

Leave it on if at all possible. Ask Kelly about not having an e-brake.

Your gonna wanna leave it, just relocate it where ever possible, and check to make sure it still work properly. Laying on the ground is not enough to keep it from moving sometimes.
