Hey 93yota, On my particualr setup I,m running several mods, but they claim the supercharger can be run on stock engine with no problems if you run good fuel, and avoid lugging.
For what its worth my engine build consists of the following mods.
88 22R block, bored .020 over, fully balanced, 7.5-1 forged blower pistons, crankshaft windage tray or crank scraper as LC calls it, big valve 22R head with performance springs, bronze guides, Schnieder camshaft, dual timing chain setup, H/D oil pump, dual remote oil filters and oil cooler, Camden supercharger, Holley 500cfm carb, K&N filter, Mallory unilite ignition, an older long tube Hooker header, and out through a 2-1/2" exhaust system. I kept the boost pressure conservative at 6psi, I was more into reliability than horsepower and to date no problems.

o ok that sounds good when u talk bout luggin wat u talkin bout

Lugging the engine down, like pulling a hill in 5th when you should be in 3rd, or taking off from a stop in 2nd, keeping the engine revs up so the engine will pull instead of struggling to get up to speed. It will heat up the pistons from lack of lubrication and can lead to premature piston failure.
