I just got this in an e-mail I thought its pretty good and so god damn true....

Friday, September 2nd, 2005

Dear Mr. Bush:

Any idea where all our helicopters are? It's Day 5 of Hurricane Katrina andthousands remain stranded in New Orleans and need to be airlifted. Where on earth could you have misplaced all our military choppers? Do you need helpfinding them? I once lost my car in a Sears parking lot. Man, was that adrag.

Also, any idea where all our national guard soldiers are? We could really use them right now for the type of thing they signed up to do like helpingwith national disasters. How come they weren't there to begin with?

Last Thursday I was in south Florida and sat outside while the eye of Hurricane Katrina passed over my head. It was only a Category 1 then but itwas pretty nasty. Eleven people died and, as of today, there were stillhomes without power. That night the weatherman said this storm was on its way to New Orleans. That was Thursday! Did anybody tell you? I know youdidn't want to interrupt your vacation and I know how you don't like to getbad news. Plus, you had fundraisers to go to and mothers of dead soldiers to ignore and smear. You sure showed her!

I especially like how, the day after the hurricane, instead of flying toLouisiana, you flew to San Diego to party with your business peeps. Don'tlet people criticize you for this -- after all, the hurricane was over and what the heck could you do, put your finger in the dike?

And don't listen to those who, in the coming days, will reveal how youspecifically reduced the Army Corps of Engineers' budget for New Orleansthis summer for the third year in a row. You just tell them that even if you hadn't cut the money to fix those levees, there weren't going to be any Armyengineers to fix them anyway because you had a much more importantconstruction job for them -- BUILDING DEMOCRACY IN IRAQ!

On Day 3, when you finally left your vacation home, I have to say I was moved by how you had your Air Force One pilot descend from the clouds as youflew over New Orleans so you could catch a quick look of the disaster. Hey,I know you couldn't stop and grab a bullhorn and stand on some rubble and act like a commander in chief. Been there done that.

There will be those who will try to politicize this tragedy and try to useit against you. Just have your people keep pointing that out. Respond tonothing. Even those pesky scientists who predicted this would happen because the water in the Gulf of Mexico is getting hotter and hotter making a stormlike this inevitable. Ignore them and all their global warming ChickenLittles. There is nothing unusual about a hurricane that was so wide it would be like having one F-4 tornado that stretched from New York toCleveland.

No, Mr. Bush, you just stay the course. It's not your fault that 30 percentof New Orleans lives in poverty or that tens of thousands had no transportation to get out of town. C'mon, they're black! I mean, it's notlike this happened to Kennebunkport. Can you imagine leaving white people ontheir roofs for five days? Don't make me laugh! Race has nothing -- NOTHING -- to do with this!

You hang in there, Mr. Bush. Just try to find a few of our Army helicoptersand send them there. Pretend the people of New Orleans and the Gulf Coastare near Tikrit.

Yours,

Michael MooreMMFlint@aol.comwww.MichaelMoore.com

P.S. That annoying mother, Cindy Sheehan, is no longer at your ranch. Sheand dozens of other relatives of the Iraqi War dead are now driving acrossthe country, stopping in many cities along the way. Maybe you can catch upwith them before they get to DC on September 21st.

Yeah, and here's one I sent to Michael Moore right after I saw that a few days ago:

Hey, Mike!

I've seen a few of George Bush's choppers over New Orleans in news footage, but I was thinking that even more could be done to help.

So......................with a little bit of exhaustive research, and some help from our journalistic watchdogs, I actually found some BUSES like the 500 that Mayor Nagin asked for!!!! And the good news is that they're nearby already. They might need a little work, though, before they can be used to evacuate refugees. That's OK, though, these buses weren't being used for anything, anyway......

Oh, by the way, forget Kennebunkport. It's a good thing no hurricane has hit CHAPPAQUIDDICK, because no preparations have been made there.....

.....but I guess we'll cross that BRIDGE when we come to it, huh? ROFL

Oh, PLEASE! Bush is to blame for $3.15 gallons of gasoline like Moore is to blame for $8.00 movie tickets.....

...or the Secretary of Health, Education and Welfare is to blame for your level of literary excellence....

For the last time, the president doesn't control gas prices! Some of you need to enroll in an economics course, so you might have a hint of an idea of what you're talking about.

lol..... Micheal Moore ... He's a joke. You know that movie Super Size Me?.... Isn't that his biography or something? Maybe those choppers woulda been there if they werent being shot at....and they wouldnt of even needed all of those choppers if more people would of left when they were advised too...and it doesnt matter where it happened...the same result would of happened anywhere... I just love it when people like Moore and more recently Kanya West try to hate on Bush....Are you kidding me?.. Ya Bush hates the black man! Better tell the Asians to watch out! Hes comin for them next!!

Well I did feel sorry for the people in New Orleans because not much is being done but when they shoot at the choppers that are there to help them and they loot all the stores (don't get me wrong I do understand them stealing food and clothes) for big screen tv's and stuff that couldn't benefit them right now, I do not feel sorry for them. And then you have the people saying well if you were in that siutation you would act different. Well they are right I would have walked my happy and alive ass right out of that state, hitch hiked or something, when I saw a Cat5 Hurricane in the Gulf headed straight for me. You know now that it has been turned into a race situation, well I could care less. I met a lady last week from New Orleans and she was even disturbed by the way the people of New Orleans are acting. Don't blame Bush, there was a mandatory evacuation and they choose not to leave...and the great Mayor. Well where was he when all this was happening? He fled. Just like I would have done.
