I finally got my truck registered and now I'm working out the quirks. This is the one I cant figure out...at about 35 plus, if I take my foot off the accelerator, it vibrates. The whole frontend. Now, I replaced the tranny mount, had the driveline inspected and double checked to make sure everything was tight. I'm thinking, warped rotors...but I haven't driven it in forever. Can this happen? It matches the symptoms. Any suggestions or ideas?

YEAH ROTORS CAN DO THAT TO YA, MAYBE EVEN THE WHEELS NEED BALANCED OR MAYBE YOU EVEN NEED AN ALIGNMENT.... MUNE SHAKES LIKE A MOFO AT 65.... BUT I THINK MY WHEELS MAUGHT BE A LIL BENT.. HOLLA BACK SV

If it was the rotors it should only do it noticeably when you break, not just let off the gas.

Ok, it doesn't happen when I hit the brakes. I now know that warped rotors cause quite a vibration at braking. So, out of balance tires? The vibration is quite noticeable at 30+ as soon as I release the gas pedal. I just need ideas here. If I need to replace something, u-joint or something...let me know. PEACE!

how long has your truck been sitting? it sounds like flat spots in your tires.. if its been sitting long

if its only doing it when he lets off the gas and not when he pushes on it then it wouldnt be a flat spot....living up here we experience -60 degree temps and you get flat spots...and you feel them ALL the time lol

Yeah, Im curious on the pinion angle also..

Never sat in the same spot for too long. I was always moving it for one reason or another. When I take my foot off the gas the whole cab shakes and makes it kinda hard to tell exactly where it's comin' from. I do feel it in my stick though...so I'm led to believe that it's rearend related. I'm gonna double check the placement of the rear axle on the leafs and the pinion angle. Gotta tell you though, I think I'm at optimal ride height. I roll at a height to keep the front tires parallel to each other and the rearend high to create a more deago'd look. I ain't with the drag your ass look. Thanks for the ideas....gonsta go check'm out!
