wrecked 98+ s10s.

hello, my truck has been sitting for months now, because i need to smog it, my cat is shot. I belive it was from dragging. Any wrecked s10's, 98+ out there, 2.2 cyl, can spare me there cat. converter? brand new it is 500 bucks, no way will i pay that much. i just need a cat to throw in to pass smog, i dont care if it is new or what not.

well you cant find it at a junk yard anywhere cause its illeagal to resell. Id just say fuck it and straight pipe it. Or just buy a cheap glasspack and somehow make it just a tube that looks like a cat or somethin and get rid of the shit inside it.

Actually flowmaster makes a low profile muffler for about 150 that looks like a cat. Then u can have a awesome sounding no cat exhaust.

I dont think that will work with Cali smog laws

i do have a straight pipe. it was built with 2 flanges on it also, so i can change it out, even has a place for the 02 censor. But, i put the cat on last year to smog it. and the cat broke again. So i need another cat off a wrecked truck. Smog is behind 4-5 months,so it cant be driven,.

why noy go to a local muffler shop and have an after market cat put on it? around $150 screw the "oem" one....

or you can sell me your truck bro!
