problem with bd S-10 steering

can anyone tell me how 2 fix my steering i have a 97 S-10 with a 4.3L v6 and i cant use my factory hole for my steering because my exhaust manifold is right in the way how do i go around this can anyone help picturs would be nice thanks. . . layn97

mine's in the same place, i've never heard of anyone having that problem unless it's a motor swap

SAME HERE

you need to cut the hole in the firewall further up to move the column up. however this will put it in your lap more, which is ok if you have tilt..

its not actually my exhaust manifold its some kind of vacum or sum shit that is like flex hose from the manifold 2 the intake thats whats in my way can i plug this ??????
