87 yota runs then just dies, WTF

i need some help, i got a 87 yota, just bagged not bodydropped, and its running like shit. it will start up, then just die, acting like its gettin no gas, i replaced the fuel filter and fuel pump, its a carbed 22r. it used to only do it like once a week, then it started getting worse. sometimes it will run fine, like the other day i went out and decided to see if i could figure the problem out, and it didnt do it all day, so i drove the fuck out of it. then i went to hop in the next day, and it starts up, 2mins later dies. if i pump the gas it almost stays running. i cant figure it out, maybe carb? and i just did a tune up to it too, and adjusted the timing, any help would be great, thanks

It sounds like your carb.m My truck used to do that and I took the carb apart and found a hair line crack in the float. On your carb, there should be a sight glass. See if the fuel in the sight glass is halfway (from top to bottom). If it is past the top, your carb is flooding. Hope this helps

i fixed it, after replacing the carb it did the same crap, so i pulled the line off the fuel pump, and it was dripping out, so i threw one of those universal electrics on, and boom, it ran. now ima throw a weber i got for free on it, anyone know it they are hard to rebuild?
