Air cylinder problems

I have a EAI cylinder kit off a 93 civic, that I am installing on my 95 accord.

I finally got the civic mounts to fit my accord, but the problem is the shop where I am getting the install said I need like 190psi to lift the front, and the back near jumps off the ground at this pressure.

They reckon at 150 psi the back goes up and down ok, but the front cylinders wont lift the weight of the car up...

Does this sound like bullshit to you guys?!?

The civic and the accord I presumed would use the same cans, but he reckons I would need huge pressure to get em to work properly (even though the cans are rated at 150 psi max...)

At this stage he is trying to persuade me to buy a set of his cylinders that dont have a shaft as big (I think they are Blowjax) that will lift the front no problems

I am running all 1/2" lines, cylinders, valves,3cfm pump 2 x 3 gal tanks ...

holycrap 1/2 lines......i cna lift my accord @175 with no problems

theres your reason... if you havent seen it happen yourself, go down there and have him prove it to you, might wanna check out you stuff while you are there.

you might just need to add another comp..they hold more than 150 psi i have instalalled them on about 25 hondas the front of the accord does weigh more but it is harder using 2 tanks and one comp with a accord ..the blow jax rise like s... so i would not suggest switching cylinders it would be pointless..

What good will another cpmpressor do man?

At the moment with the tanks full It lifts up and down a few times before the compressor cuts in, so if the tank is full and I go to raise the car the front raises very slow, and the back goes up and down fassttt.

They are selling me chassis-tech cylinders.....

You could get adjustable filters for the rear cylinders.
Are all your valves in the back? That made a diffrence on my accord. The closser the valves are to the cylinder the faster it will be.

I have told you about AIM/chassis-tech. I hope their customer service is better in OZ.

i have a 00 honda civic just threw some cans on it from mic "master image customs" the back sets low on stock wheels about the hole back tire but how do i get the car any lower in the front or back... let me know what i can do

Just a few things off the top of my head...
-Cut the fork down to the bolt that clamps it to the cylinder.
-Cut out the finder where the tire or upper control arm hits.
-If you have the bump stops at the top of the cylinders remove them.
-Get shorter forks. (hard to find) I think loudciv on here can shorten the stock ones for a little $$.

There is more on this somewhere on here but I don't feel like searching right now.

Man if only you were in Oz man to help me out, teh shop has had teh car for like 3-4 weeks, I just want it back, they have the chassis tech mounts and cylinders in the front now, and they reckon its very quick...

I will pick up the car tomorrow nigfht after work, so I will take sum pics and let uno how it goes!

Im hoping the chassistech cylinders wont give me any problems everyone seems to be reccommending the SMC gear on here!
