I am welding in my skin and tail light fillers all from FBI on my Sonoma. The skin fits pretty well put the fillers are garbage. Just wondering if anyone else has had problems with the fillers lining up with the skin? Mine is about 1/4" off from lining up. the skin is right because it fits the contour of the taillight. Does anyone make a better filler for an S10?

put some metal behind it that simple i would be more woried about the welding ///you really should use a gas welder

I'm using a gas welder. I tacked in the fillers a LONG time ago when I had flux core. i am going to cut the fillers out and reweld them in. I use a Miller 175. It's BS that you buy fillers and they fit that bad. The drivers side isn't AS bad but it's off too.

nothing is gonna fit perfect. all bodies are diffrent so it would be hard to have them all fit right. thats why it custom work.

Yea, good point man.I was just wondering if this was a common problem. Looks like it is. I have a way that I can make it work. It's had to explain but I'll post pictures when I get it done.

thats a problem with 2nd gen s10s/blazers...the sheetmetal that is being sold for them is for poo.I'd look into Grant Kustoms or Can Do specialties next time
