DPS and the Texas light laws

theres another law that states that whatever lights or safety equipment the vehicle came with it must have. this includes lights in the original location. been there, sounds like a dick just messing with ya.
probably wont ever get hassled again, unless you pass that guy again, if so then get ready to pay a ticket. but the fact it hes right and can give you a ticket for it.

been tehre done that if you get an actual ticket just go to autozone buy some 3 dollar light bulbs go to court show them the reciet and theyll drop it dont go to a police station to have it written off.

You cant do any thing it is not about lights he was talking about no reflectors
I have the same problem on TX troopers
I live in Houston.
No other cops pull me over except them.

ken thats the same shit that i got my ticket 4 3 weeks ago i also got 1 4 no reflectors visable from the rear

im runnin a set of 41 chevy tails that are blue dots with a line of fire led and well i have driven across tx without any troubles but my moms buddy who is a cop told me i need some more lights because there bright witht he brake on but look like candles without the brake i was like yes sir so i had to fix my line of fire but im look9in to buy a new one and mount it in the back glass so ppl can see it better

in my oppinion all cops are the same some are kool as hell and other are just dicks that dont' want anything mildly custom on the road

The thing with the reflectors is that I asked him about just adding 2 red reflectors and he said that that only pertains to 18 wheelers.. I didn't argue with him though. Gordon, did he give you an actual ticket or just a warning? He gave me a warning for no brake lights and a ticket for my expired inspection.

Aaron, My personal opinion is that he was just being a dick. It was a Sunday morning also, so I'm sure that might have had something to do with it. It was one of those cops that drive 15 miles under the speedlimit in the fast lane looking for people who are speeding on the other side of the street.. But I am going to stop This is pissing me off again
