I screwed up in saying the spindle was shortened; I wasnt paying attention, but yeah the actual hub mounting point is raised by 2" and the new spindle will retain all of its original dimensions except for the hub placement.

most people need the overall height to be shorter so they dont hit the hood or have the upper ball joint bind.

Like Adam said they really need to be shorter. Also with moving the hub up you run into problems with the axle hittin the fork. Atleast I had that problem on my civic. It's a 95. I'm running the Rayne spindles on my car.

Personally, I would rather not have a shorter spindle. When you shorten it you get drastic changes in camber and toe when you alter the height. Seems to me like most people can get their car two inches from the ground with the stock spindle and keeping the control arm under the hood, so if the hub was just moved up it would lay the car out. Next we need someone to make a fork with more clearance to accommodate the dropped spindle and we'll'll be set assuming you don't have to move the motor up to prevent the axles from binding.

^^^^^ That's the problem I'm having now on my car. The axle is hitting the alternator bracket; so to go lower I need to raise the motor.

i'd scoop some up for my accord. just for the looks factor since it already sits on the ground (WITHOUT KIT)

am I missing something?

well if u shorten the spindle 1.5" & lower the control arm mount 1.5", the camber stays the same as a stock suspension travel would. as far as toe, mine doesnt change anymore now than when it was just on cans.
