I have tweed on my dash and want to take it off any one have any ideas how to get the glue off the dash

I'd get the sand paper out and hope when you pull the tweed, most of the glue comes off with it. Interior plastic doesn't seem to like solvents very much.

If there is only a little bit of glue left try using really fine steel wool. You have to wet the surface first so pick up some kind of cleaner like Meguires Quick Detailer, spray the dash with it, and then scrub it off lightly. If that doesnt work try picking up some adhesive remover, 3M makes some that works damn good and doesnt ruin the surface underneath where the glue is adhered to. If that doesnt work the only other option I can think of is being very careful with laquer thinner.

wax and grease remover is what i use. but ur dash will never b the same
