yes, you should be shot in the face nineteen times.
There are only two good choices for 22r/e motors.
LC Engineering <--My personal choice, and
Doug Thorley which also gets good reviews around here.

i plan on gettin a doug thorely header, does anyone kno if it drags or if its above the frame?
kdcgrohl   +1y
both the LC and Thorley sit above the frame. my LC is a good inch up even with the motor dropped 1".

Im going to order a LCE header this week & was wondering whinch one you guys use & think is best? There are several on their site...oh & I have the 22re in my truck too with a 5-speed! Thanks guys

1041030 is what i'm using. i could not use the connector pipe due to the stock floor, everything from the three bolt flange back had to be custom. if i'd not dropped the motor, would have been all good.

pacesetter is junk. i have one. its cheaply made. MIG welded, And theres some extra holes drilled in the flange that need to be plug welded, otherwise the header will leak. The 4th pipe needs to be hammered in too to clear the rail that goes on hte outside of the exhaust flange. I honestly just bought it cus i got it cheaper than what it would cost for a new stock manifold. cus my truck was missint the whole exhaust system when i got it.. After seeing the quality, i was just gonna cut the flange off and use it to make a new one.
