i did a 2 link and bags over the axel on my full size chevy and the rear axel is rotating forward when you air it up why is this happing and how do i fix it

Thats a 2 link, you have to add 2 more links to fix it. To keep the 2 link, setup your pinion and wheelbase at rideheight. Your going to have to live with the changes full up and down.

put a wish bone on the center of the axil and hook it to another cross member.

or add 2-more pars to create a 4-link which will also stop the pinion angle change

yea they are right, it just happens with a 2link.. only way you can compensate a little is to have longer bars. how long are your bars? besides pinion change, this can stress your bags at a bad angle.. if you bolted the front of your 2link bars into the stock leaf hangers.. and didnt weld much to the rearend.. the best thing would be a 3 or 4link, but if you have to settle with a 2, do something similar to what I did and have way longer bars, as close to the cab as possible and use some sort of crossmember or fabbed brackets off the inside of the framerail with gussets. and do what Andy said.. set your pinion, wheelbase and all at ride height.

We just did a 2 link on the 55 this weekend. The rearend will swing in an arc. There is no way to avoid it with a 2 link. a 4link is better if you have the space. We set the 2 link bars up at ride height for clearance and to make sure we kept the wheel base. I does pull it slightly forward when we lay out, but it's not that noticable. If your going to add the other bars and go with the 4 link, make sure your 2 link pivots at the rearend or you wont fix the swinging arc.
