Nitrous/helium on a car
all the rides ive had have always just used air ive never really gone over to the nitrous or helium yet but seeing it gives me the urge so whats the take on it.. hows it hook up to your system if you wanna use air to and is it dangerous in any way?
which is better to nitrous or helium

Nitrogen, nitrous is too expensive and better for making your car go fast than up and down fast
Nitrogen not nitrous is alot cheaper then helium and its easy to hook up. You just need to get some bottle mounts, a bottle, a regulator with a high delivery psi rating (450psi or so will do) and then you use a 1/4 npt 1/2" tube compression fitting to connect it to your tank and shabam thats it.
yeah i ment Nitrogen sry bout that
is there any risk in it at all?
If you get hit by another car and it happens to nock the valve off???
nitrogen is about a 1/3 of the price of helium last i checked
if you get in a accident that is bad enough to break the valve off...which is kinda slim
this could be a big debate but i think the bottle has to gain speed to cause problems
if the bottle is held in with proper brackets that are not made out of wood, sheetmetal, elastic bands, etc....the bottle shouldnt be able to launch itself
now let it sit on the ground stand in front of it while your buddy knock the valve off lol and try to catch it and then its going to be a different story lol
also they make different styles of valve/regulator protector caps that are available online or at your local bottle shop
they make a cap that you can put on the bottle then put your regulator on and protect the valve the only thing that can get knocked off is the regulator not the take valve
o and nitrogen is cheaper, helium is faster and lasts about half as long as nitrogen
