Here comes Rita and the winds are 165 mph. She looks like a monster out in the gulf. if you live around the coastline I would get out before this weekend. She could really do alot of damage inland too. I'll be glad when hurricane season is over.
She is one of the top 5 hurricanes the states have ever seen, and is being compared to the hurricane that hit Galveston in 1900 that killed between 6,000 - 12,000 people. Something along the lines of putting the entire island under water.
Well i live in east texas about 200 somthing miles away from the coast and they are saying it will be a cat.3 by the time it hits me its a 4 now. Supposed to be pretty heavy damage and tornandos all through my area but im sticking it out. Peace out peeps and good luck.
im smack dab in the middle of the path i live right by beaumont in vidor so far we have moved most of our show vehicles to higher ground but were stayin to home to ride it out
well my town was hit pretty good they say about a month or so before we get power back up right know im just worried about my truck since its in another town
we went sat morning real early and drove to beaumont and let me tell you, what they show on tv isnt shit, that place is messed up. We were in town before most cops and news crews and took a few pics. It was crazy how quiet it was there and to see no one in a major city like that was just odd. I hope everyone from there is ok!
