for a accord what would be best, i know its ur prefrence but still, whats good n bad....i hear cans ride like ass crap, but they seem really fun, its for a daily driver too...can u get lower more then the other?
clyinders will get you lower, but from what ive heard struts bags ride alot better than cylinders, my car rode fine on good, smooth rodesm but on bumpy rode the ride was really stiff, but i liked my cylinders
for a 01 and down accord i would use cylinders and they ride ok not bad and yes a cylinder will lay lower ....hydros would even lay lower than air cylinders
yeah i would go with cans on that and cylinders will get you lower and like he said hydros will get you lower than that but thats if you want to go that extra mile take a look at my honda in my profile that will give you an idea what cans will get you on a honda i love mine
can u drive all the way down, or do u rub...like ive never dealt with unibody before....i mean ive seen the top of the strut tower cut out to give the upper c arm room, what else can u do to get lower....its on an 96-97 accord by the way
yeah you can drive with it all the way down just pop it up real quick if you see somethin that looks rough which is no biggie but makin it lower is possible you can get shorter forks for the back or you can do what seems to be the big thing unibody dropin it which im probly goin to get into myself
ive personally rode in cars with air struts cylinders and trucks with cylinders or bags and a car on cans is not near as bad of a ride as everyone says they are it is actually one of the smoothest rides ive ever had at a medium hieght but all the way up they r the worst ride ive ever had or down they r still fairly smooth
