well, i just bought an 05 ram, yellow, all the goodies, 24's that were on my 05 Denali my wife wrecked.........now i wanna "ruin" it and drop it.....im gonna use this as a delivery truck for my shop......anyways.....what would be the best place to buy parts to give my truck a 4-6 drop.....im pretty new to this whole custom scene, my little brother is more into than i am......so, if i were to bag it, and lay frame, would i still have good use of my bed or, how low can i go and still use the truck for what its made for???

How did you manage to bolt up a set of 24"z w/ a 6 lug pattern (denali) to a dodge that is 5 lug ??

2500?

To lay on 24s is not no easy task.

Mcguaphys makes a kit with spindles in the front which would be my recommendation if you were going with a static drop.. for a dodge go to http://www.slammed1suspensions.com/ the owners name is brian and can get you the best deal there can be gotten on Mcgaughys kits for rams. plus Excelent customer service..

If you wanted to bag it to lay on 24s .. your lookin at narrowing your axle, tubbing and notching your bed. changing the whole front suspension. relocating air breather, front computer, battery , fusebox the list goes on and on...

If you want it to be a delivery truck.. get some smaller wheels .. the gas prices got to hurt you runnin 24s ? LOL..

Good luck.

yeah, my little brother informed me of that today, but the guy at the body shop said he can get me three more of the same rim, and since i have a spare, i will have 8 of them, so i will sell both sets and buy a set for the ram.

i think im just gonna do a static drop, and i am not worried about gas prices....gotta pay what you gotta pay, and i make enough money not to worry about it.....

so a 4-6 drop would work well with 24s right? or should i just get some nice 22's? my wife wants 28s, i told her no.....

are you sure those are 24's cause my truck used to look like that before if bagged it. i have a 2004 dodge ram quad cab red sport on bags but i used to have the mcgaughys 4/6 drop and ran 22x10 boyd coddingtons and it looked similar to that black one. but then again i might be wrong.
