Need to figure out the impedance of the voice coils first.If its 2 ohm single then you want an amp thats stable to 2 ohms mono.You might want to add another sub in the future so take that into account as well.I believe jl amps deliver the same power in 4,2 or 1 ohms due to the regulated pwr supply,so you could add another sub without another amp later.But using a d class amp amp will allow the sub to puke out large amounts of bass.concept amps are one of the best bangs for the buck
