Anyone know anything about this? I think it may be on the list of things to do if I get this truck. I don't mind a cowl hood, but don't want to go too radical with it. If I have to I can roll with a cut out for a while until I can afford to have the fenders pie cut and raised a little bit.

Anyone have info on this?

If you're gonna do the unspeakable deed and cross-breed *insert four-assed monkey joke here*, sbc will be much more cost efficient if you're starting from scratch. Its been proven thousands of times, unless you or your weird uncle eddie have a small block ford ready to go, the chevy will be cheaper. Get yourself a lexus engine or something, lots of info on that can be found on DUT.

Working on a SBC swap right now. The motor is a LQ4. Pretty much a Chevy LS1 motor with an Iron block, 6.0L I believe. Gonna mate it up with a Turbo 400 tranny. A buddy of mine junks cars so I got the motor and tranny cheap cheap. Still in the research/parts gathering stage but hopefully I will start cutting and swapping in the summer. Gonna do some work to the motor probably stroke it out to 408 or something crazy like that. Building the truck to drag race.
