I was happy when i got my new bell tech spindles for my f-150...But suprised when i found out they could only be used with 18" and above rims. Thank you belltech and stylin concepts for providing such a remarkable and informative sales team. Im planning on getting at least 22's but still. i wish someone would have informed me of this before i bought them. i could have used that money to buy the wheels =)

They should have informed you but if you think about it , it makes perfect sense!

Why did it take them so long to come out with them? Lets see, way back in mid 96 when the 97's came out, I am sure they had a truck to prototype, but wait, we can't make a spindle to clear anything smaller than 18's because of the clearances! But very few people at the time used 20's on their trucks, so 18's and larger wouldn't do very well for their sales, so they sat on it. Jump foward 9 years where no one runs less than 18's on the F-150's CHA CHING, now we will make our spindles. I wouldn't doubt if they had the tooling and prototype for the spindles since 96'. If it is not profitable, why make them?

They should let you know when you purchase them, but I think it is common sense that you have to run a larger rim. If you could run in on stocks, they would have came out with them 9 years ago!

Will 18's fit for sure?

yeah it makes sense to me, but i just didnt even think about it to be honest. To run 18's it says in the instructions you have to cut the lower balljoint till it has 1/8" of threads left after the bolt is on and cotter pin is in, then chisel a X in the bottom of the balljoint threaded part.

guess i'll stick w/ 20's and up then. my head is about to explode trying to figure out if i should keep the spindles or do a spindle flip instead.
