Ok, need some info on how to take measurements for my 4 Link. I'm gonna run the Suicide Doors Wishbone Kit with a Bag Over Axle setup. I need to know how to take the measurements. From axle to mounting point and then them figure out the length minus the tabs or what? Any help would be apreciated.

You need to have the truck at ride height, and decide where youll be mounting the bars.

The one I did, all of the tabs faced up or down, so I see what you mean about subtracting the length of tabs.

Maybe this helps:Measures 2.25" From center of hole to the end.

Measures 4.25" from center of hole to the end.

2.75" From center of hole to the inner part of the arch.

2-5/8" from center of hole to the inner part of the arch.

You get a basic idea where you want the bars first, and you might laugh.. but I actually made cardboard rectangle tabs and taped them in place to measure from hole to hole LOL. As for a 3link, if thats what you meant by wishbone, I think all of the bushings would be parallel, so you just measure in between the 2 planes of where your tabs will be, when a 4link you'd have to measure at an angle.

Get all 4 bars adjustable if possible, youll have a little room for error in case you for some reason cant change the mounting locations to compensate for .25" off measurement or somethin.. you can just adjust the bars a little.. that and correct your pinion if its a hair off after everythings welded up.

Hope some of that possibly helps, its probably a big run-on sentence, i accidently do that sometimes when just typing out steps to doing something..lmao.

Good luck and post a shitload of pics

Thanks, That helps clear up a few things. Any other pointers? I like to learn from other people's mistakes.

Just make sure everything's welded up damn good, and measure twice.. well 5-6 times if you're like me, and cut once. Good luck man

Well then, Looks like i need to get the bitch off the ground and set ride height and order me a 4 Link. I freakin pumped, I cant wait to get that shit installed. I'll have pics up as it comes along.

Awesome man, cant wait to see it!

Just making sure... when at ride height all the 4 link bars should be level right? And bags should be placed over the axle and bridge made and everything welded up at that point right? Sorry, I'm new to this...

And what should I set me ride height at? How far from the pavement?

you should be the chooser of that, i usually do 4", so its almost in the middle of the arc of rear axle travel, i usually setup for 9-10" of lift.
