My pass side front sits about 1/2" lower than my driver side, so I plan to trim the cup on the driver side to level it out. I know cutting 1/2" will lower it MORE than 1/2", but does anybody know the ratio that I'd use to determine how much to cut? It's a '01 F150 w/ stock control arms....

How many valves do you have you may get some air transfer if you only have 2 on the front

I would think cutting 1/2 inch off the cup would give you 1 inch drop at the end of the arm

Use valves to level. Your passenger side will be able to go lower than your drivers side if they are uneven like that. If your frame is tweaked or it's installed uneven then jack up your truck and put it on stands. Use your jack to raise and lower the arm. Use a ruler and measure the distance from the center of the lower bag mount to the floor and the center of the outside of the rotor to the floor. Jack it up an inch and remeasure from the same spots. You should get a good idea of bag movement to center of wheel movement from this.

Oh and disconnect the air line so you dont jack the car off your stands.

I have 8 valves, and both locked up and layed out there's a 1/2 " difference, so just using valves to level it won't help me much... I'll try using the jack to determine what to trim then, I think I could use some of that new fangled math shit to figure it out on paper, but that doesn't always seem to translate to accurate real world results. Thanks for the help!

Just do it the hard way and cut it, see if it helps. If not take it down and cut some more. But if you're lookin for the answer just cut 3/4" off

^^^ I think I'll do that... then go to the other side and trim it some to match then! That and the spindles should have the frame on the ground fast enough

LOL sounds like the classic matching of the chair legs. You should be sitting on the ground in no time.
