I've been working on this for a couple of weeks and wanted to run it by you all just to confirm that everything is correct...

Cylinders: (2) 3" for $84.55ea
-----------(2) 4" for $141.55ea

Cylinder Brackets: (1) Set for $179

Compressor: (1) ViAir 380c for $169

5 Gal. Air Tank: --- (1) Not sure yet, I hear FIRESTONE has the best?

Pressure Switch: (1) "The Green One" 145on - 175off for $15

Valves: ( 8 ) SMC 1/2" for $46ea

Airline: (50') 1/4" (for gauges) for $15
---------(50') 1/2" for $24.50

Switchbox: (1) 10-Switch Box for $32

Gauges: (4) ViAir Black Single-Needle 160psi for $10ea
--------(1) Air Tank--- Need Black face upto at least 200psi

Speed Controler/Muffler: (4) 1/2" for $10ea

Water Trap: (1) SMC 1/2" for $30

Fittings: Working on it

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Here are my questions...
1. Are Firestone Tanks the best quality tanks you can get?

2. What Brand of Pressure Switch is "the green one" everyone sells?

3. Are the 1/2" Air lines the correct size for the 1/2" Valves? Or do I need to get the 5/8" Line for no Bottle necking?

4. Are there any 200psi or higher Gauges with a Black face to use as the Air Tank gauge? Brand, where to buy?

5. Is the 1 SMC 1/2" Water Trap the correct size to place from the 380c Compressor to the AirTank?

I think thats pretty much it.
Thanks all for the help!

1/2" lines are plenty fast unless you just prefer to use 5/8" so all of the Inner Diameters match and you might notice a difference. Might cost a little more for line and fittings though..

I'll keep an eye out for black face 200 or higher PSI gauges for your tank, and also you'll need a 1/2" x 1/2" Male Hex Nipple to connect the Water Trap to the tank, then a 1/2" x 1/4" Reducer Bushing to hook your compressor into the water trap.

About the air tank's I'm actually not too sure.. personally all of my friends and I use the regular old black ones we all see, since you plan on using a water trap and maybe a drain plug as well.. rust shouldnt be much of a problem.
