i got a 90 pu with the 22r in it, and every time i take it to the car wash that u wash it yourself with the pressure washer, it stalls out. it doesnt matter if i leave it runnin or if i shut it off. i know obviously somthing is gettin wet cause after a couple minutes i can get it to run and it sputters but it eventually goes away. i was wondering if anyone else had this problem and if they did anything about it

when you are washing your truck are you spraying the grille with the presure washer straight on? the intake tube for the breather grabs its air from the driver side of the core support. you might be filling it up with enough water to make it sputter. if the air filter gets enough moisture in it, it could suck in small amount of water into the carb and make it sputter until it finally dries out.

i spray the grill but not for a long period of time. and the intake tube has somewhat of a lip on it that points down so i dont think it would get too much water into it to stall out

yeah its pretty unlikely that it would happen, but its still a suggestion and could be a possiblity.
