The glass itself it inherently strong because it should be about 5-15 layers thick depending on type of install. The mdf sides can be reinforces with 2x4s and scrap wood that can brace the inside.

email me and I will send you a picture of a frame before the flease was layed after you do the flease and resin the hell out of it you just begin matting it like joe said 5 to 15 layers depending on whats going in the enclosure.

the sides of the fiberglass box sides are mdf too. Cause i want to put the subs in the center console area and have face driver at angle and the passanger at an angle. So how would i do that?

thats the link to my webshots where i have a fully detailed step by step of how i built my center console for my ram.

thats how i held the rings in place and then i wrapped that in fleece and glassed over that and when it was hard the resin held the rings inplace and i removed the bracing which was hot glued in.

so you rmoved the braces the held the ring? is certain resin to use witch is the strongesr

the reinforcements arent structural there just there to hold the ring in place and they can be removed after all is said and done. epoxy resin is stronger but poly will be fine.

go to www.glassmanscustomforum.com and look in the forums at build-up pictures of boxes people have made, or go into the photo section and look at some pics there
