how to raise gas tank....

i have a 97 full size chevy, and i was wondering for those of you who still have your factory tank, how you raised it above the frame....thanks in advanced

I took a 2 inch section outta 95 fullsize chevy tank then sectioned the bracket, its for sale if your interested.

i redrilled the holes in the front for the mount to bolt in higher and cut the part oout of the rear crossmember that holds the gastank, and section it up an inch, that keeps my tank off the ground.
