normally i believe you notch the frame for the beams not the beams for the frame.

if u have the round beams yer good to go, otherwise i think u have to trim the xmember for clearance

you have to notch the belltech beams due to the fact there to bulky. but ya in order to lay out and the lower mount to fit properly ya you have to notch the beam and the frame. save your self a huge headach and just get a set of djm dream beams.

like LO said you need to notch the beams cause they will hit the oil pan and stop you from lying. Make sure if you do notch the beam you need to reinforce it very well(since that holds most of the front load). You will also need to notch the frame on the passenger side for the tierod so that you can lay. What kind of brackets did you get for the front?? I have suicidedoors, but they arent that great how they are angled(I love everything Jason makes just not the brackets. I recommend making your own brackets. Everything else should be straight. Your wheel wells can stay i believe with 17's. Good luck

I bagged my 88 and used DJM and Alter Images bag mounts, along with the relocator and made my own tranny mount. (The one I've seen hang below the frame rails.) But we had to notch the frame for the tie rods and also for more clearance for the I-beams near the oil pan.
