Metal for frames?? What to us?

Hey what are you guys using to build your frames? what size tubing?

i know people that have used 1/4 inch 2x2 or 2x3 and i also know someone that used 1/8 inch 2x3 but needles to say he never finished the truck so i dont know how that worked out

mostly 2x3 1/4in walled

Alright thx because ive decided im gunna build a frame and i was just wondering what other people were using. But one questions to the people runnin 2x2? is it strong enough?

2x2x1/4" is kinda light, your frame will flex. 2x3x1/4 tall ways is good for making frames.

they havent had no prblems yet so i dont know

2x3 seems like it would be if i build a frame thats what im gonna do is use that just a few people around here are runnin 2x2 and they aint had problems yet but i see what your sayin cuz i think it too

your frame is supposed to flex...your stock one does...
