Does anyone have any pictures of the front I-beam setup on a set of DJM Dream Beams? I am going to be bagging my 90 Ranger and would like a little guidance since this sure as hell ain't no S-10. Hit me back!

Jared, do yourself a favor and have some tubular upper mounts built that get the bag up and away from the framerail so you don't have rubbing issues like the ones associated with the suicidedoors.com and Silver Star Customs brackets.

no matter what kind of mounts you use your gonna have issues baggin the i-beam rangers is a pain in the ass but take your time do it rite and when you can lay out and tuk 14's without a b-drop it's all worth it. p.s. i never had a prob. with my suicide mounts.

Thanks for getting back guys. These I-beams have been just a bitch since I put them on. If this were an S-10, there would be no problem. I guess that's what I get when I fork out only $400 for a straight body 90 Ranger. I thought it was gonna be nice and easy at first, then the stories of the beams came out lol.

What would be my best bet to just get this thing bagged and have her dragging? I am not too concerned with any extra shit for it, just want a semi-safe dragger that's not gonna kill me.

Would it just be better to sell this bitch and grab something else?

NO, don't be a wuss, bag that bitch! lol I had some pics on my work computer, but the computer guys traded computers with me damnit. I can get you some pics at your request though. Good luck with it man! Oh and I use SilverStarCustoms front bag mounts and my bags don't rub NO Where!

If you will take your time and line up the top and bottom right, you shouldn't have problems with rubbing. Take an extra jack and jack up the I beam till the bag is in the fully "deflated" position, then look for rubbing spots. That's how I did it. Just tack weld until you get it right.

I had the suicide doors style setup on my 97 ranger for awhile, and it rubbed but that was also the hack installers fault. The 2nd setup i had was bags off the radius arms under the frame rails, reall good ride but it took ALOT of boxing and bracing the radius arms and it put dragged the bottom bolt off the bags on a regular basis. The 3rd setup that I think worked the best was the tubular upper mount and a tall bottom mount built off that big ass nut that holds the factory spring in, lifted real quick, rode a little rougher and watch that steering shaft clearance, it gets tight. Look at bigtime's ranger on severedties.com arizona chapter... badass. and the usual stuff get the radius arm and tranny crossmembers... suicide door's are a great fit be patient and good luck

First off, thanks to all of you helping me with this project. Secondly, Frank, the square bodies are pretty sweet huh? Thirdly, Brett, you should send me some pictures over of the front bag mounts and all that shit. That would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your guys time!
