looking at a 2004 nissan titan

Due to hurricane Katrina my daily driver Dodge truck is gone.I am looking at 2004 se and xe trucks.I would like a lx but money is tight.Are there any problems with the 2004 trucks?I am also looking for advice for upgrades for the interior.Are there any?

they dont stop for s**t bad brake problems(frontier brakes on a fullsize) and nissan still hasnt came out with a fix yet

Do the 2005 titan brakes work better?I saw drilled brake disk on e-bay do they help?Jeff what year and model do you have for sale?

who needs brakes? just dump the air and drag to a stop.

They came out with a brake fix a few months ago, just parts are still not easy to come by

I should go in for my fix next Monday

But still, I have hauled a 1500lb trailer with a 5400lb car on it, no trailer brakes .... and it stopped fine.

Also, the 05's came out with aluminum finned differential covers, some 04's were having some problems with their diff. getting to hot.

I love my Titan, thing is focking saweet.
I test drove all the offerings from other manufacturers and the Titan beat them all in my book.

Yeah, like Navi said, they did come out with the brake fix back in July, and they even extented the warranty to 36 months, unlimited mileage. There is nothing wrong with these trucks, and they haul ass. My titan is by far my most favorite vehicle I've ever owned. I would highly recommend the Titan to anyone. Also, go with the SE if you do get one. And check out all the titan forum websites for mods and info about the truck.
