When you guys build your frames, what gauge steel are you using for your leaf hangers, If any of you are stupid enough to use them over a 4-link like myself. For a daily driver, I cant use a 4-link or I wont pass a vehicle inspection. So I need to have leaf hangers on my frame if I need to pass an inspection. Unless there is someone out there like suicide doors that make pre-fabbed leaf hangers.

-Thanks

Brad

What are you trying to do? Static drop, bags?

bags, but I need to retain leaf hangers on my new frame, I am going to run ladder bars and a panhard. But as I said I need to be able to put in leaf springs to pass vehicle inspections and they get dished out more than a $2 whore.

It sounds like vehicle inspection is a pretty big concern. For that reason, I wouldn't go building a new frame. Adapt the 2 link to your stock hangers. IMO it would be smarter to build an afermarket suspension to fit your stock frame than to build a custom frame that fits your stock parts. Especially if your gonna be going back and forth alot.

your best bet is suicide doors or do some measurements and fab up your own with 1/4 insh steel

use the suicide doors five link and when it is time for inspection just unbolt the front hangers and move them back to the original spot use the factory frame and just box it in if you are lookin for somethin cleaner and stronger

I need to build a new rear clip, canadian salted roads create cancer nightmares. Im not that concered with an inspection, because If I do get one I have another vechicle, and I will just continue to work on the mini, I just wanted to run a 2 link for a Just in case situation.
