OBS fullsize step shaving

anyone here got any REAL experience with shaving the rear steps off an OBS stepside?

im really only seeking advice on how to correctly line up the new peice to perfectly cut off the old step. any advice pertaining to this would be appreciated. thanks!

welp we did a buddy's awhile back, an we cut it right at the top of the little body line above the step to make it totally smooth around the back end and also ditched the body line on the rest of the truck, but I have seen one that cut under that body line an put a shaver on there to keep that body line, didnt turn out very good to me, looks TOTALLY outta place even though the body line flowed right from front to back , just looked better to me gone.
But i might be able to track down some pics, i'll see what I can do

yea see if you can find some pics without the bodyline. from all the trucks ive seen that still had the body line looked all right to me.
