A month ago, I decided I was getting bored of my Foose Lusso 19s. (which are still for sale by the way) So after a lot of research, I stumbled on something that kind of sparked some interest, Twentyinchesstrong 07s. What interested me was teh widths, bolt patterns and offsets of these rims. Most importantly, the TIS 07's 22x8.5 inch rim with 5x100 bolt pattern and +45 offset so.......
All the work is being completely by my close friend Matt, who I might add is an amazing fabricator. So far, we've shortened the rear axle 3.5 inches, added a custom crossmember with modified trailing arm tabs to move the rear axle back one and an eighth inches, workin on a mini tub, with Firestone 2500 bags with custom brackets. Now I know lots will say, this is too big, but I like it......heres some pics of the work...
The rim on the car without the shortened axle and no tire...
Oops where did the other half go??
Oooh, there it is...
The rim on the car with the axle shortened
heres a pic of the crossmember added with the tabs
The 19 lookin stupid on the rear axle haha
The 22 with tire but without the mini tub...
New arm rest for the passengers in the rear seat
Annnnnd, tuckin 22s
For the total plans, I'm running the 22s on the rear of the car, and 20x7.5 on the front of the car. I know I need a big brake kit, hopefully I can secure myself a sponsor over the winter with a manufacturer for brakes, but so far, I've just wanted to get this done so I can have some substance to offer the brake company...
