ok guys i looked all over the honda forums and idn't find anything on it. does anyone know the easiest way to take out the stock steering wheel/air bag without setting the damn thing off?

disconnect your battery and wait about 10 minutes for power to drain out of the back up capacitors. After that you are safe. Just be sure if you are putting the air bag back in, not to get any wires crossed up.

After you get the wheel out, remove the airbag, put it in the microwave for about 10 seconds & run like hell

thanks terence i'll give it a try as soon as my billet wheel gets in

lol thanks for the tip jeremy, i wasn't sure if i should run or just stand there and film it like the rest these idiots that try to do stupid shit on camera

do the battery thing but make sure and undo both negative and positive, wait and then take out fuse and unplug big yellow wires under dash by steering column, then pull it out, just to be safe. never had one go off yet.

where did you get your adapter?

i got my wheel made at Kustom Creationz and they make their wheels fit the Grant Signature series wheel adapters which you can get at almost any part store around me

MAKE SURE YOU GROUND YOURSELF OUT TOO. THEY SAY STATIC ELECTRICITY CAN SET EM OFF.
