i'm a member on the HAMB and it's a good place to go. they're willing to help you out with questions, parts, etc, etc. the people are really cool unless you're jumping on the bandwagon to build a rod. if you're really into hot rods than it's all cool.

if you join up, first do an introduction, never mention the term "rat rod" unless you don't care about getting flamed to death, search before you post a topic.

bye the way....the HAMB can suck sometimes. basically take all the SSM bitching, fighting, and negativity, add some hot rodders and you have the HAMB (jalopy journal) occasionally youll find something useful and somebody helpful and down to earth. if you are respectful, they are respectful back
