what trans will bolt too....

HeyI am lookin to get a 5 speed to bolt my 94 4.3l engine. What can I use? t5? what bellhousing do I need?ThanksJAmie

well the 4.3 5 speed s10s came with an nv3500,you can use a t5, the bellhousings are kind of hard to find but i belive you can use a t5 bellhousing from a 305.

you are correct to a point a 4.3 is a 350 just 2 cylinders short. take a t5 outta a camaro now you might have to check what year but it has to be v8 i have a t5 came stock on mine and the problem is the slave cylinder drags the ground and my truck isnt even layed out yet. they are bullet proof but a new process will bolt up to your truck too and you wont have that prob. other then that the t5 is a hard to find trans from what i heard. and the guts are as much as the trans itself. but if i seem like i know it all i dont. i know s.10s like the back of my hand though. the only truck by gm i will ever own

if you dont have any luck with that then go to advanced adapters website and they sell adapter plates to bolt anything up to anything. if you look hard enough who knows wha you might find. their staff will tell you what your options are. good luck
