well i was ridin like i usually do.comin back from pickin up one of my boys from school an get goin bout 45 an the driveshaft on the rear broke.there was no vibration or anything....sometimes it vibrates but not all the time.but what im tryin to figure out is why it broke.i have pics just dont know how to post em.so any help would be appreciated

the driveshaft or the u joints. and if the driveshaft broke did it brake around the welds or right in the center? driveshafts are usuaslly made of tubing and are hollow or filled with cardboard or rubber and if you have big rims or alot of power the ujoints may hold up but the shaft itself will break

i think it was the u joints, i was in the truck with him, its hard to explain where it broke at

is it the shaft its self??or at the carrier bearing or at the u joint connecting the rear end?

where its connected to the rear end...the lil c clamps that screw on are on there still

your pinion angle was off too much. you were prob riding too low and the degree of the rear end and the drive shaft were prob angled to much
