I hope that the new staff at trucks, can work wonders with it. I have read it through a time or two, but the only copies I own, were given out free at heatwave. The magazine has way too many damned ads, and while the nastruck coverage was ok, I really could give two squirts about monthly coverage. The features were not really that stand out, so I know that will change....thank goodness.

I will give it a try with the staff, and hopefully the improvements will seem near immediate.

Now I hope my streettrucks subscription doesn't become a total waste of money.

Good luck to the guys, and I have really enjoyed this thread, but now I feel old as hell....haha

I hope that everybody has read the part at the end where Court, er um, I mean Wyatt is talking about building much more than trucks, because they are words of wisdom, and what it's really all about.

Um, I almost forgot, we all started over at Trucks on Monday and the first issue we (the old StreetTrucks staff) are going to be working on is number 41. If you have any comments or ideas of what you would like to see in the new magazine, you can e-mail me at courtney@tenmagazines.com or Brian McCormick at brian@tenmagazines.com with your comments and ideas.

The best mag in the bussiness, Street Trucks lost its staff?! The staff that alot of us have followed around for years from mag to mag. Dam, I just re-upped my subscription to ST too. New subscription to trucks is coming. I hate to hear that you all have moved, but just goes to show what a uninformed industry exec can do by "changing" the mag around.
As for Wyatt, I too grew up reading the diaries and very much looked forward to them ea month. The stories of ole mazdog, and the catchy tag line, keep grooving like you have a weasle in your shorts....

good times...

As was posted earlier, Mike is rehabbing from a wicked accident out at Glamis. Prior to that he worked at CEC Wheels, a plush gig he got after leaving Euro Tuner.Tom left MT to go work for an Indy team back east, then returned west some years later. The last time I spoke to him was a few years ago and I believe he was holed up in Colorado or somewhere like that.

Wow. I haven't been here before, but the topics are all associated with me, Steve Stillwell.RK Smith and I started Truckin' back in 1975, and everyone was added as staffers later, with Brian and Courtney being with me the longest, even when we left to start Street Trucks and then on to Trucks. Brian is still there and Courtney and I were let go before X-mas. We both have serious health problems now, but will recover. I still have my 59 Dodge Town Wagon, Double Ugly
