I just wanted to get an idea as to where i should mount my bag on my bar. I know the closer to the pivot point i go the higher the lift will be but i just wanted opinions of how far back it should be from the pivot point?
i personally wouldnt go any closer to the frame than half of the distance from the center of the bar. in other words the center might be ok but if you can i would recommend a little further out than center. keep in mind drive shaft lenghts and pinion angle. good luck beau
yea abe i think im gonna get the diameter of a 24" wheel and tire package and add the difference to my 20s so i know ill have enough clearence if i go as big as 24s in the future. I believe with tires the diameter will be like 33.5" so i would have to be at least 17" plus the diameter of the bag away to make sure ill clear the tires. I guess that means since my bars are like 29" long i can mount the bag like a foot back from the pivot point at max.
also pay attention to how high or low you put your bag in relation to the bar. Make sure the frame doesn't hit the ground way before the bag even gets close the flat.

thats just gonna be a matter of location of upper bag mount, im gonna make a 3.25" spacer and use that to get a refrence to mount my bags to optimize lift.
Well ill be running the rs72 slams so i think they can take some weight. Ill try to track down the formula to calculate load at different points on a lever.
