My friend picked up a 02 Tahoe a few months ago. He asked me to help bag the rear, but to be honest I havent had a chance to look underneath it to see what all is involved and how much room there is. He is a bit concerned about too much cutting becasue he wasnt to keep the stock rear seat. Basically what i want to know is...how much room is there for bags,, notchs, links, driveshaft etc under there? any major pain in the ass to deal with? its now on 24s so i know theres going to be a lot of cutting. He basically told me laying out would be great but close would be ok to keep the rear seat and cutting down to a minumum. This is his daily driver.

good luck layin it out and keepin all that bs in there you are gonna have to tub the poo out of it to lay 24s. dont forget the front, thats gonna be an even bigger pain for 24s.

yeah well i figured there would be a ton of cutting....im not a complete moron. just wanted to know how much room is under there to start with. just dont have access to one at the moment to relate to and get some reference points from. Im gonna stop by a dealership tommorrow and look at one.

funny i was just looking at a 04 today for the same reason i might b buying from my work thats totalled. theres only a couple new body styles on here ive seen bagged but there isnt too much stuff in the way except a emissions box. id be cutting out the rear floor and bd it so i didnt pay attention to how much clearance there is..
theres one around town here that almost lays frame on 22s and i dont think he cut out the floor or wheelwells.
prolly wouldnt get real low with 24s but only one way to find out...
