On the passenger side of the 22r(possibly the RE) theres emmissions crap that 'clutters' up that area. What did you all do to clean it up a little bit? I was lookin through the profiles, but not many engine pix..

Don't throw it away or you'll kick your own ass later, but....take all the emissions stuff out. The charcoal canister and hoses can go, if you lenghten the wires to the fuse box, you can tuck that away. I may have pics on the web somewhere...check yahoo "toyota minitrucks group" photos area....maybe?! I even got rid of my AC and heating to get rid of those hoses too.

get a weber if its a 22r, then move your fuse box in the cab, relocate your battery in your bed, or under, move your coil and power steering "canister" to your core support, thast waht i did on my 88, before the front got torn off pretty much

Charcoal canister under bed, against frame r/h side rear, fuse box mounted to the side of inner fender r/h, battery to inside cab, used a disbution block mounted on top of inner fender for power leads from battery

Honestly I dont remeber but you can remove everything on a factory carb.I got ride of all the charcoal canisters and all of it.....Lemme see if I have some older pics when I ran the factory carb with no emmisions.....but be warned gas mileage you will notice a difference.
