Canada's marijuana dealers are converting suburban homes and abandoned warehouses into pot farms, creating a C$10 billion ($8.5 billion) market that's three times the size of the nation's biggest legal crop, wheat.

Cities such as Vancouver, Montreal and Toronto may each have as many as 20,000 pot factories, said Rich Baylin, former national coordinator for the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. Cultivation is rising because penalties are often one-eighth those in the U.S., and Canadians' acceptance of pot has risen.

I watched something once about that and they take pounds and sink them in the water between them and the states and put gps on them and after so long they blow up with air and rise to the top.

Canada rules.

if they would just legalize it, wouldnt that end the black market sales and "the dangers" around this.

people keep getting cought growing pot because of the high electric bill that all of a sudden increases compared to the average persons electric bill. if they were smart, they would rent a seperate facility and use it to grow there pot, that way they cant get checked for such a high electric bill.

here in denver metro they just passed the I-100 law. possession of weed in quanities of an ounce or smaller are legal. you cant buy it. you cant sell it. you cant smoke it. but you can hold in your hand an ounce.

the state still says no(troopers bustin your ass) and federal gov says no. but denver po-po wont fuk with you.

i was gonna say that denver just passed that law and i hope that more cities n the us realize that letting people have it isnt going to destroy thier communities just make a bunch of people stress alot less
