just out of curiousity, what kind of degree in electronics do you have that helps with stereo work?

or what does a degree have to do with soldering a broken wire?? lol

dude just solder that shit back together, i have reparied about a dozen kickers that did the same thing, you may have to extend the wire just alittle bit but you can re solder it back to the post, just melt all the old solder off first and be careful to not melt the wire or even worse yet the sub

yea that was a big issue on the 1st run L7. that and the corners wearing out quickly. the new ones are crazy. the corners are built up like a mofo and the leads to the coils are heavy and longer than usual.

like stated above, you can get in touch w. a kicker dealer and arrange a repair...or probably have it soldered. if you try soldering it though, it may be hit or miss. and if its a miss, time to buy another one. good luck man

The wire is pulled out of the part that is on the cone and everything is made from plastic around where it goes.

MY OLD 1ST RUN PAPER CONED SOLOBARIC 12S USED TO DO THAT ALL THE TIME SO I HAD A FRIEND OF MINE WHO WORKED FOR KICKER FIX IT BUT HE WOULD JUST EXTEND THE LEADS A BIT AND SOLDER THEM BACK I THINK
