i now recomend block sanding before i thought it would take forever but i sanded wif a pand sander on my one taillight and it took forever i did my passenger side tail and it went quick and it looks better in my eyes

ask any serious painter, they will tell you that blocking is the most important stage, it is the stage where you sculpt the shape you want. this dude told me that think of it like a rock sculpture, its already in there, you just have to find it, and find it with precision.

Couldn't tell you the last time I sanded a filler/primer with a DA/palm sander for whatever reason, I use a block regardless on whatever I do.

if u hand sand it leaves fingerprints in the paint,caues ure only pressin with ure fingertips
