FBI 4 LINK

whats up guys i have an fbi 4 link with bags over the axle,well iam bodydropping it and want more lift,so iam putting my slams on the bars.do you guys think my fbi bars will hole up?or sld i get some from jason? lata

unless fbi has redesigned there 4 link i wouldnt use it.... only thing i would have used there 4 link is on a gocart..

ya there bars are weak. if you are going to mount the bag on the bars you will need much stronger bars

if you are gonna install their cheapest 4 link, make sure you arent gonna drive it much, i remember checkin out their tech article which said to drill a hole in the frame and put a bolt through it for the lower bar front mount

you wont be able to run the bags on the bars unless you weld a serious plate gusset to the bottom of them.

you could get the ssd under bar gussets

even with a gusset i wouldnt on there bars.

i have the fbi 4 link with my bags on the bars i put a 1/4 in peice of steel under then for a gusset and i have been on it for about a year no problems yet

the thing is that they use cheap heim joints, the bars arent all that weak. id try to stay away from a double adjustable end bar if you are gonna mount the bag on it. and for a couple bucks more you can get a better 4 link that uses poly bushings from other companies, hell gravity-werx.com has a nice kit for 250.
