Alright, this may be farfetched or something but I am most likely going to get a 90 Civic 2 door. I know the headlights for the Civic and CRX are the same and for the most part they look pretty much the same except for the hatch. My question is...will a kit for a CRX fit on a Civic??

body kit? suspension kit? engine kit?

body kit-dont think so.... front bumper, yes....side skirts, to short....rear bumper, no clue....

suspension kit-95% sure that the suspensions are interchangeable

engine kit- interchangeable, IF they have the same wiring setup, there were 2 or 3 different engines used in civics/crxs in 88-91 and i think there were 2 different wiring harnesses

^^ what that guy said. I own a 91 CRX and every bodykit site I've been to sells 88-91 Civic/CRX kits. Front bumper and rear bumpers are the same, side skirts are different. But because of this there is no kit that they make for one that they don't make for the other. And not a huge selection!! Check out www.andysautosport.com for the biggest selection I've found so far! And good luck

I meant body kit, sorry. Now, are the door panels and fenders interchangable? Also, are the hoods the same? They LOOK like they are, but I'm not too sure. Anyways, what I'm wanting to do is put this http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/88-89-90-91-CRX-12-PIECES-FLARES-WIDE-BODY-KIT-W-HOOD_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ6755QQitemZ4583665175QQrdZ1 on a Civic. Don't really like the front bumper so I'd change it. But since the damn side skirts are too small then that probably means the door panels and fenders will be too, right?

the fenders and hood are diffrent, but what you can do is swap a whole crx front end onto the civic, it will all bolt up as far as i know if you use all crx parts (bumper, hood, fenders). i thunk it works though, i could be wrong.....its happened before...lol. doors/doorpanels are diffrent too....hope i could help

Inside door panels are the same, fenders are not because the corner lights are different, hoods are the same. Now looking at that kit heres what you are going to have problems with. The side skirts won't fit because the CRX is quite shorter than the Civic. The door caps should fit. The only difference in the Civic to CRX door is that they're cut down shorter at the B pillar. The front fenders won't fit too nicely because the corner lights are different. Now, you could try and swap out the corner lights with a CRX and then the fender and bumper might line up much nicer. The rear fenders you might as well throw in the trash because they aren't even going to be close to fitting. The hood will fit and the spoiler won't. Unless you are extremely skilled at working with fiberglass I wouldn't waste the money. Check out www.passwordjdm.com for their SiR front end conversion. It's OEM parts so you know they'll fit and it looks fine. Throw on a cf lip and cf side skirts and your car would be way hotter than having a plastered on ghetto CRX kit.

Damn, well I guess until they come out with a kit like that for a Civic...LOL. Guess what I'll just end up doing is getting a scoop to put in the rear fenders or something.

Rear bumper to body kit won't work, I had a civic that I sold then repoed and it had a crx rear kit when i got it back and it doesn't line up the same, the corners cut in alot more on the crx. They do make quite a few kits for these civics though, Most of them are ugly in my opinion but then again I don't like most body kits. Just do C-Tar said and go JDM, looks so much nicer.
