I have a old body style 2000 chevy crew cab dually. It has the 454 engine and auto trans. The front is bagged with the easystreet kit. I just raised the crossover pipe and the front just wont go down any more. It has 215/70/16 tires on it, but I would like to go back to the 225/75/16's also. It still has about an inch to go. wtf? Will art lower arms help? Also has anybody else had rear problems with the tires hitting the dually fenders on the outside? Mine won't clear by almost an inch on each side. I have kmc slam wheels. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

sounds like you may need a set of drop spindles?

I would start off looking for any dead bodies underneth front of the truck, thats where I always start

You have to notch part of the lower control arm mounts in order for the control arm to make full travel down where you need to be. You may want to check that.

If you wanna go back to the 225 75 16 I would also suggest notching for the tie rod ends.

I do have djm 3" drop spindles. I will check either the firewall or the L control arm mount. thanx for the input!
